In 2022, the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities (NJBPU) approved a benchmarking mandate for large commercial buildings.
The program requires commercial buildings exceeding 25,000 square feet, to annually benchmark their energy and water usage using Energy Star’s Portfolio Manager. The webinar explained the benefits of Benchmarking and provided an overview of the NJ BPU Benchmarking program. Speakers were Jeffrey Grant and Nina Kovalenko of EnergyPlus Solutions and Casey Fitzgerald of Utility Advantage, LLC.
